Very Exciting Week

Peace,

Family,

This has been a very exciting week.

First, President Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. Many of the student stayed home and watched with their family so went to school and watched with schoolmates.

Second, there was a change at Parker Elementary School. The change, separate classes for boys and girls. Result, fear and confusion and dissatisfaction. Many of the girls felt it was unfair for some girls to stay in the classroom with boys. They called them the "good" girls. Others felt that it was segregation. Some said it will cause or lesbianism. But a few agreed with the change.

There was a lot of mixed feelings and certainly a lot of controversy. The children want to be heard. Of course the whole purpose was stop the girls from being boy crazy and prevent boys from being a distraction to their education.

We believe it's a great idea. The student don't. Some parents do, others don't. Teachers unknown. The news of this change is hotter than a scandal in city hall. Of course we're talking about teenagers.

As the weeks go by our self improvement courses are sure to make an impact on this situation.

Stay tuned.

your sister,
m.m.
